Smeigedag Sauna Kristiansand Bystranda is a welcoming, centrally located sauna at the popular Bystranda beach, right out on the pier where the Palmesus festival sets its stage.
Here, you can unwind, warm up and enjoy a unique closeness to nature and the sea, in the heart of the city.

At Bystranda, you’ll find two sauna rooms.
Oksøy and Drømmeren, both named after the views they face.
Shared sauna capacity
Oksøy: 15 people
Drømmeren: 8 people
Private sauna capacity
Oksøy: 20 people
Drømmeren: 10 people
Private sauna sessions can be booked up to 3 months in advance.
Shared sauna sessions in Oksøy can be booked 21 days in advance, while shared sauna sessions in Drømmeren become available 2 days before.
Both saunas are heated with electric stoves. Each sauna has its own changing room with private changing cubicles.
Facilities include an illuminated bathing pier with steps down to the sea, a freshwater shower and access to drinking water. Please note that there are no toilet facilities on site. The nearest toilets are located at AQ, Tangen or Tresse.
